Xbox Gulf partnered with digital advertising agency 8 Point Media (@8pointmedia) to promote Xbox devices and games, particularly Forza Horizon 4, to the Twitter audience in the Gulf region. They aimed to increase traffic to the Microsoft Store by taking advantage of Twitter’s high rate of video views..
Xbox Gulf aimed their campaign at gaming enthusiasts and techies aged 15 to 35.

While using the right messaging is important, Xbox Gulf also created a bilingual campaign to engage directly with the diverse Twitter audience within their region. By Tweeting in both English and Arabic, Xbox Gulf were able to reach as many potential customers as possible.

One of the benefits of using video is that it gives the audience a taste that leaves them craving more. Xbox Gulf included Video Website cards in their Tweets showing video of the incredible gameplay in Forza Horizon 4. These cards are also links so it only needs a single click to direct viewers to the Microsoft Store.
A sure-fire way to reach more people is to target influencers. Xbox Gulf used targeting options (keywords, look-alike followers, and interests) to put their content in front of big gamers and vendors. These influencers then Retweeted Xbox Gulf organically because the Tweets were relevant to their audiences too.
