FAQs about Twitter surveys
Twitter surveys are not the same brand surveys. Learn more about brand surveys.
What is a Twitter survey?
Twitter surveys allow people on Twitter to optionally share their perceptions of Twitter and our product offerings. These surveys are currently distributed as injections in the home timeline only.
Why am I seeing this survey?
If you see an injection in your home timeline, you have been selected to participate in a survey. If you do not want to participate in the survey, simply don’t respond to any of the survey questions.
Who uses this data?
Only Twitter’s internal research team tabulates and analyzes the survey results. These results reflect the combined responses of those who participated in the survey.
Will this affect my Twitter experience?
No. Your choice to respond or not to the survey will not alter your overall Twitter experience.
Why are these surveys being conducted?
These surveys are intended to help Twitter understand the effect of its products, policies, and actions, broadly, as well as how they are perceived. This is a standard industry practice across many digital platforms.
