What’s the policy?
Twitter prohibits the advertising of trademark infringing content globally.
Examples of trademark infringing content include:
- Content that misleads users about the advertiser’s brand affiliation.
- Links, images, or other embedded media that could create user confusion regarding the advertiser's brand affiliation.
- Promoted Trend names that feature third party names in a way that could mislead users about the advertiser’s brand affiliation.
What do advertisers need to know about this policy?
Review our guidelines and make sure you understand the requirements for your brand and business. You are responsible for all your promoted content on Twitter. This includes complying with applicable laws and regulations regarding advertisements.
